ABOUT

Art by Ór is a 29 year old, self-taught, abstract expressionist artist from Ireland. Having a strong passion for Art since a young age, she has reconnected in later life as a pastime and begun experimenting with her artistic style.

Previously working mainly on expressionist portraiture, primarily in charcoal, she has begun looking at a more abstract approach to expressionism. She uses heavy texture, vivid colours with hues of dark undertones to create emotion in her paintings. Her work is generally mixed medium using mainly acrylics, inks and charcoal.

She continues to develop and hone in on her technique to create her most authentic style.
